Privacy policy

In short: Aurora is run by The GEO Agency Ltd. We collect what we need to check how AI engines answer questions about your business: your email, your business details and website, and the AI answers we collect for you. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it to train AI models. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.
Who we are
Aurora is AI visibility software provided by The GEO Agency Ltd (“we”, “us”), registered in England. We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy.

This policy covers aurorasees.com, the Aurora app at app.aurorasees.com, and the emails Aurora sends you.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google, and nothing else from your Google account.
- Business details: your business name, website, what your business does and where your customers are, which you confirm when you set up Aurora.
- Your questions and results: the customer questions you choose, the answers AI engines give to them, and the results, recommendations and reports Aurora produces.
- Public information about your business: the pages of your website and the public profiles you confirm are yours, which Aurora reads as part of your results.
- Billing details: if you subscribe, your payment is handled by our payment provider. We do not see or store your full card number. We keep a record of your plan and payments.
- Technical information: sign-in cookies that keep you logged in, and basic logs (such as IP address and browser) that keep the service secure and prevent misuse.
We do not ask for, and do not want, sensitive information such as health, ethnicity or religion.

We do not sell your personal information, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not use it to train AI models.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted service providers to run Aurora. They process information only on our instructions and only for the purposes in this policy. They fall into these categories:
- Hosting, storage and sign-in providers that run the app and keep your data secure.
- A payment provider that handles subscriptions and card payments.
- An email provider that sends sign-in codes and account emails.
- AI and data services that we use to run your checks and analyse the results. We send them questions about businesses, not your email address or account details.
- Sign in with Google: if you choose it, Google handles that sign-in under its own privacy policy.
We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, or with a buyer if our business is sold, in which case this policy would continue to apply.
Where your information goes
Some of our providers are based in, or store data in, the United States and other countries outside the UK. Where information leaves the UK, we rely on the safeguards the law requires, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or standard contractual clauses offered by those providers.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and results while your account is open, so you can see how your position changes over time. If you close your account or ask us to delete it, we delete your personal information within 30 days, except billing records we must keep for tax and accounting purposes (usually six years).
Cookies
The Aurora app uses cookies that are necessary to keep you signed in and secure. aurorasees.com does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our pages may store small preferences in your browser, which never leave your device.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of your personal information;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete your information;
- restrict or object to how we use it;
- send your information to you or another provider in a usable format.
To use any of these rights, email hello@thegeoagency.io. We will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Children
Aurora is for businesses and is not intended for anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top, and if the change is significant we will tell you by email before it takes effect.
